Nepalese Neurosurgeon Society confers honorary chair title to Dr Devkota

Kathmandu, June 9 – Nepalese Neuro Surgeon Society has conferred honorary chair title of the Society on senior Neurosurgeon Prof Dr Upendra Devkota today.
The Society officials reached the National Institute of Neurological Society and Allied Science (NINSS) hospital, Bansbari, and conferred the certificate of the honorary chair on him.
The Society Chair Prof Dr Mohan Raj Sharma, while presenting the certificate, said that they were planning to fete Dr Devkota with the chairmanship title but they were not getting appropriate time due to poor health condition of Dr Devkota.
He added that they achieved a right time today as Dr Devkota witnessed health improvement today.
While receiving the certificate, Dr Devkota thanked the Society and wished ‘best of luck’ to the Nepalese Neurosurgeon Society, adding he was happy with it.

Dr Devkota’s health condition serious

The health condition of senior neurosurgeon Prof Dr Upendra Devkota is serious, the National Institute of Neurosurgical and Applied Sciences said. He is under treatment at the ICU at the Institute.

Issuing a press release on Dr Devkota’s health condition today, the Institute said that there is no any truth in the news about Dr Devkota’s health that is making rounds in the social networking sites. It has urged one and all not to go by the misleading information other than the official information disseminated by the hospital.

The hospital and the Devkota family have thanked all those who have expressed their concern over Dr Devkota’s health.
