Palpa, June 1 – Twelve people who were killed in a bus accident today have been identified.
The deceased are Bishnuman Bajracharya and Krishna Bahadur Bohora of Tansen Municipality-4; Loknath Dhakal of Tansen-2; Basanti Khand, Debendra Lal Pradhan, Krishna Man Bajracharya, Chhatra Man Shakya and Sushil Prasad Shrestha of Tansen-3; Durga Bahadur Saru and Gita Budhathoki of Tansen-6; Sachin Bajracharya and Kamala Karki of Tansen bazaar.
A bus (Lu 2 Kha 975) skidded off the road and fell at Humin of Rambha Rural Municipality-4 in Palpa today morning, leaving at least 12 dead and injuring 15 others.
The deceased were on an observation tour from local Laxmi Saving and Credit Cooperative Limited, Tansen when the accident occurred.
