Chitwan, April 24 – CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday said efforts were on to announce the unification of Maoist Centre and CPN (UML) likely on April 27.
Saying there is a delay in the unification due to business of both party chairs, he said, “Prime Ministerji is busy. So I am. The unification will conclude once a discussion between us takes place.” He was speaking at a press conference organised here by Chitwan chapter of Press Chautari Nepal.
In another context, he expressed hope that upcoming Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Nepal visit would help further strengthen ties between Nepal and India.
“Modiji’s longstanding wish is to visit Janakpur and Muktinath. Bilateral discussions are also scheduled to take place during his visit,” he said.
