Prez Bhandari hopes PM’s India visit takes bilateral ties to new height

Kathmandu, April 5 – President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed confidence that the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s upcoming State Visit to India will reach bilateral relations to a new height.

According to President’s chief personal aide Bheshraj Adhikari, President Bhandari expressed such confidence while extending best wishes to PM Oli for his successful visit. PM Oli had reached President’ residence Sheetal Niwas Thursday evening to brief her of his visit.

PM Oli was accompanied by his chief political advisor Bishnu Rimal, Chief Secretary Lokdarshan Regmi and Secretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry Shanker Das Bairagi during the meeting with the President.

The PM is leaving for India Friday morning by leading a 54-member delegation on a State Visit at the cordial invitation of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
