Chitwan, April 3 – CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s India visit would focus on warming the bilateral relations between the two countries.

There are no new agenda in the India visit, said Chairperson Dahal while talking to journalists today. Old agenda would be discussed in course of the Prime Minister’s India visit, he said.

On a different note, the Maoist Chairman clarified that CPN-UML and Maoist Centre merger would take place on coming April 22 due to lack of complete groundwork though it was stated to integrate the parties before PM’s India visit. “The taskforce also suggested April 22 for merger date. We received task force report today. We will move ahead to merge the parties on April 22”.

Noting that it would be the unity of two communist streams, he said the merger would be held on the principle of equality with due respect not on percentage.

Earlier, Chairperson Dahal inaugurated the national museum of Nepal’s first-ever cooperative organization, Bakhan Cooperative, at Sharadanagar today.

On the occasion, the living founders of the historical cooperative organization including Krishna Man Gurung, Harka Bahadur Gurung and Indra Singh Gurung were felicitated.
