PM directs NRA to ensure effective implementation of rebuild works

Kathmandu, April 1 – A meeting of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA)’s Consultative Council Sunday directed the organisation to take all elaborative measures to complete the post earthquake-rebuild works.

The meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence this evening under the chair of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli reviewed the progress made so far in the reconstruction efforts.

Talking to media persons following the meeting, NRA Spokesperson said the meeting agreed to call a meeting of the Directive Committee for coming Tuesday to hold discussions in detail for carrying out remaining works in an effective way.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister directed the stakeholders concerned not to further delay the reconstruction works under any circumstances.

The meeting ended with the decision of nominating House of Representatives members from the 14 most affected districts on the Consultative Council.
