Kathmandu, March 29 – President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said the country has now entered into a phase of stability and prosperity, so conflict could not be imagined in any pretext.
While addressing a joint session of the federal parliaments Thursday, President Bhandari mentioned that there was a golden future for democracy and progress with people representatives elected in all three levels in Nepal.
“I believe that now the country will head towards achieving economic development and prosperity in the direction envisioned by the constitution,” she said, stressing that strong feeling of financial discipline and integrity must be promoted in all state organs, public institutions, cooperatives, communities and private sector.
The Head of the State further said the democracy is a system of making development smooth while fulfilling people’s needs.
She urged everyone to move forward by remaining united and utilizing the means and capacity at our disposal.
“While extending friendship and collaborative hand to all our friends including our friendly neighbours and appropriately engaging with them in order to fulfill our development aspirations, let us make construction to the best of our ability for the peace and prosperity in our neighbourhood and all over the world”, she underscored.
