Kathmandu, Jan 23 – The District Court Kathmandu has issued an order to remand in custody nine accused behind the murder of Sharad Kumar Gauchan, Chairman of Construction Entrepreneurs’ Federation.
Judge Babukaji Baniya issued the order following the discussion whether further detainment was necessary for investigation. Similarly, two are for release on bail, informed record keeper Krishna Prasad Nepal.
Those to be remanded to custody are mastermind of the murder Samirman Singh Basnet and accomplices Rajib Syangtan, Shivaji Mahato Kamkar, Mukesh Kumar Pande, Santosh Gurung, Prakash Budhathoki, Basanta Thebe, Dhanaraj Yonghang and Surya Bahadur Baji. Similarly, those to be released on bail are Ramkumar Saha Raunihar, and Shyam Gupta.
