Prakash Dahal no more

Kathmandu, Nov 19 (RSS): Prakash Dahal, the son of CPN (Maoist Centre) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has passed away this morning due to cardiac arrest.
He was brought to the Norvic Hospital at Thapathali in an unconscious state at 4 am today and he died shortly after that, according to a hospital source.
Maoist Centre leaders and cadres as well as journalists in large numbers have gathered at the hospital premises soon after the sad news of Prakash’s passing away spread. Dahal, who went to bed after taking jaulo , plain, soft and wholesome cooked rice given to sick people, on Saturday evening after feeling slightly ill, suffered a heart attack at night, according to family sources.

RPP expresses sorrow over Prakash Dahal’s demise

Rastriya Prajatantra Party has expressed profound sorrow over the untimely demise of Prakash Dahal, son of former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
In a statement issued here today, the party has expressed sadness over the incident and has extended condolences to the bereaved families. Earlier, party chair Kamal Thapa had expressed his sorrow over the incident via twitter.
Meanwhile, Unified RPP (Nationalist) also has expressed sorrow over the incident and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul, while extending heartfelt condolences to members of the bereaved family.

Election campaigns postponed in Chitwan-3 following Prakash Dahal’s demise

Chitwan, Nov 19 (RSS)- The locals of Chitwan Constituency-3 have been saddened by the untimely demise of Prakash Dahal, son of the former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. CPN (Maoist Centre) chair Dahal is contesting for a seat to the House of Representatives from the constituency.
Following the death of Prakash Dahal, all the election programmes to be launched by left alliance in the constituency for today have been postponed. Prakash Dahal was also a central committee member of the party and was the personal aide of chair Dahal.
Meanwhile, Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation Bikram Pandey, who is contesting the polls from the same constituency, has expressed sorrow over the demise of Dahal and has informed that all the elections programmes from his side were also postponed for today. Prakash Dahal was busy in the election campaigning in Chitwan since the past few days ago.
He was born on 31 May 1981 at Bhimsennagar, Chitwan.
