लण्डन । एकमहिना अघि बेलायतमा कोरोना भाइरसबाट मात्र ३५ जना संक्रमित थिए तर एकै महिनाको अन्तरालमा यो संख्या बढेर करिब ३० हजार पुगेको छ भने २ हजार ३५२ जनाको ज्यान गइसकेको छ ।
चैतको डढेलोजस्तो गरी फैलिएको कोरोना भाइरसले युकेमा पहिलोपटक मार्च ६ तारिखमा एक जनाको ज्यान लिएको थियो । तर, तीन सातामै त्यो संख्या बढेर अहिले दैनिक ५०० जना भन्दा बढीको ज्यान लिन थालिसकेको छ । बुधबार मात्र ५६३ जनाले कोरोनाका कारण युकेमा ज्यान गुमाएका छन् । तथापि युकेको अवस्था युरोपका अन्य मुलुक इटली, स्पेन र फ्रान्स जत्तिको भइसकेको छैन भने अमेरिकामा जस्तो विकराल अवस्था पनि आइसकेको छैन ।
चीनको वुहानबाट शुरु भएको यो भाइरसले मे १ सम्ममा बेलायतको अवस्था कस्तो बनाउला अनुमान गर्न मात्र पनि कठिन छ । २५ जनवरीबाट युकेमा कोरोना भाइरसको परीक्षण हुन थाल्यो र ३१ जनवरीमा २ वटा पोजिटिभ केस देखिएको थियो ।
