Ambassador Aryal presents credentials to Ethiopian President

Kathmandu, March 2 – Nepal’s Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Jhabindra Prasad Aryal, presented his Letters of Credence to Ethiopia’s President, Dr. Mulatu Teshome, at the Presidential Palace in Addis Ababa amid a ceremony on February 28.

Following the submission of credentials, Ambassador Aryal held a meeting with President Teshome. During the meeting, Aryal conveyed best wishes from President of Nepal Bidya Devi Bhandari to President Teshome and the people of Ethiopia for their good health, happiness and prosperity, according to a statement issued by the Embassy of Nepal in Cairo.

On the occasion, he also asserted that both Nepal and Ethiopia had common features of similar political system, and independent, landlocked and developing countries. They have been enjoying mutual relations since the establishment of their diplomatic relations.

He also showed his determination to focus his efforts to further strengthen mutual relations between the two countries.

Also in the meeting, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Chief of Protocol from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and senior officials of the Presidential palace were present.
