लन्डन । लुकेमिया (रक्त क्यान्सर) बाट पीडित चार वर्षीय नेपाली बालकको जीवन रक्षाका लागि ब्रिटिश अभिनेत्री जोआना लुम्लेले अपिल गरेकी छिन् । गोर्खा सार्जेन्ट नारायण खड्काका सुपुत्र सृनिक जंग खड्कासंग मिल्ने बोन म्यारो दान दिन अभिनेत्री लुम्लेले आग्रह गरेकी हुन् । ‘मलाई आशा छ गोर्खा समुदायले यो बाल योद्धा (लिटिल फाइटर) लाई बचाइदिनुहुनेछ’, लुम्लेले भनेकी छिन् । सृनिकलाई तेश्रो बोन म्यारो प्रत्यारोपण आवश्यक छ । सेतो नश्लमाझ ८० प्रतिशत मिले पनि इथ्नीक माइनोरिटीमा मिल्ने बोन म्यारो भेट्टाउन मुश्किल रहेको बताइन्छ ।
उनका बाबाले पनि एक अपिल जारी गर्दै छोराको जीवनरक्षाका लागि आग्रह गरेका छन् । उनले स्टेम सेल्स् डोनेशनका लागि नेपाली समुदायमा आग्रह गरेका हुन् । उनले गर्भवती कोही महिलाले शिशुलाई जन्म दिन लागिरहेको भए कर्ड ब्लड दान गरिदिन पनि अपिल गरेका छन् । यसबाट पनि कसैको जीवन बचाउन सकिने सम्भावना छ ।

Dear All Nepalese Brothers and Sisters Namaskar, After being diagnosed with Leukemia, my son Shreenik Jung Khadka (4yrs old) is struggling to find a matched donor for stem cells transplant. Being caucasian(white origin) gives 80% chance of finding the a match but ethnic minorities like us are massively under represented in the donor panel.
