Surkhet, May 16 – A cargo aircraft of the Makalu Air which disappeared following its take off from Surkhet Airport to Simikot of Humla this morning was found crashed at Bahunkharka of Kharpunath Rural Municipality, Humla. Two crew members are found dead.
Among them, one is identified as Kiran Bhattarai while the identity of second is yet to be ascertained, according to Karnali Province Police Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police, Suresh Bikram Shah.
The aircraft left for Simikot from Surkhet Airport at 6:16 am and lost its contact with the airport.
